I run sales at a boutique that staffs Silicon Valley startups. Most of the day is calls. The gear on the desk either holds up to that or gets written about here.
Why a sales guy reviews gear
Because I keep buying it and it keeps breaking. My Samsung M8 died, which is how two Gawfolk monitors ended up on this desk. I’m on my third pair of AirPods Pro 3 in ten months. My first Ray-Ban Meta stopped turning on after ten days. At some point I started writing the reviews I had been looking for: what the thing is like after weeks of 15-hour days, with the price I paid, and whether I’d buy it again. Every unit on this site so far is one I paid for, and no brand sees a review before you do.
The rest of me: born in Brazil, with years in Argentina, the US and Canada. I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish and French, I’m partway through a BSc in AI at Anhembi Morumbi, and I built and shipped a fitness app, atlas.core, on my own. The CV has the numbers.
